Job description

TITLE: Housekeeper
REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly/Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Maintain the function and the cleanliness of Short-Term Rentals, Members Residences and The Club’s facilities which include, but not limited to, Halsted House, Range House, Wellness Center, Boathouse, Kids’ Club, Comfort Stations, Storage Facilities, Cart Barn, Employee Housing, Golf Course Maintenance Facility, Security Facilities, Maintenance/Housekeeping Facilities, Sales, Daniel Communities, and Equestrian Center.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining the function and the cleanliness of the property in accordance with the standards established by the Director of Facilities.
• Completes assigned arrival, departure, company, and private cleaning projects and other areas as needed.
• Maintain the established par level of supplies in assigned housekeeping van in order to complete daily assignments. Reports any supply shortage to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintains van cleanliness.
• Maintains a clean, pleasant, and neat image according to department standards and company policy.
• Communicates with supervisor regarding work issues or concerns.
• Responsible to communicate completed assignments to supervisor for inspection.
• Interact and assist guests and members as needed and/or communicate request to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs.
• Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.
• Reports any on the job injury to management.
• Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
• 3-5 years of work experience desired.
• Requires ability to bend, stretch, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, twist, crouch, and lift 25lbs on a regular basis and up to 50lbs on occasional basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 85% of the workday.
• Able to withstand varying weather conditions.
• Congenial personality; able to interact well with others.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs on a regular basis.
• Able to work well without constant supervision.
