STARTER/RANGER

Job Summary

Shepherd’s Hollow is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our exceptional team as Starters and Rangers. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding our commitment to excellence. We are looking for self-motivated team players with a positive attitude and a dedication to superior service.

Compensation $13.73 per hour

Responsibilities

We welcome and train all experience levels! As a Starter and Ranger, your daily duties will include: 

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all guests. 
  • Manage the guest experience at the tee, including greeting guests, checking tee times and player counts, and directing groups to the correct starting tees. 
  • Monitor and manage the pace of play, accurately recording start, turn, and finish times for golfers. 
  • Perform essential cart staff duties during the spring and fall seasons, such as staging and cleaning golf carts.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for applicants who are: 

  • Friendly and Outgoing: Able to interact positively with guests and staff.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive in identifying and completing tasks without constant supervision.
  • A Team Player: Willing to collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Detail-Oriented: Able to efficiently handle multiple support tasks in a timely manner.
  • Possess Strong Math Skills 
  • Ability to use an Ipad

Qualifications

  • Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including morning, afternoon, evening, and some weekend shifts
  • Experience: Prior experience in golf and customer service is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
