Job Summary
Join our team as a Part-Time Cart Attendant at Prairie Lakes Golf! You'll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Duties include staging and cleaning golf carts, assisting with events, greeting and shuttling customers, and maintaining clean cart areas. Essential Job Functions
This information is intended to be descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position. The following examples do not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent.
This position has responsibilities that require lifting up to 10 pounds on occasion.
  • Verifies that carts are clean, charge and in-proper working order for EPIC events. Cleans the cars after each usage by the public.
  • Provides customer service by greeting each customer upon arrival and assist customers by cleaning clubs and helping with equipment.
  • Maintains a clean appearance in the cart staging area as well as the cart barn.
  • Provides assistance to staff.
  • Regular and dependable attendance is required.
  • All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
  • Education: Work requires the ability to read and understand written instructions, to understand simple processes and the routine operation of the golf course. Level of knowledge equivalent to less than high school or equivalency.
  • Licenses: Valid Driver's License required

For city employees who are regular part time (10-19 hours per week) or seasonal hired placed on City payroll, the following benefits are provided:
  • - Public Agency Retirement System: the employee contributes 6.2% each paycheck to this retirement system and the city provides 1.3%. The employee does not pay into Social Security. All of the employees contributions may be withdrawn upon separating service from the city. The City's contributions will not be paid unless the employee retires under the system.
  • Part time or seasonal employees are not eligible for any paid leave or other benefits.
  • Part time or seasonal employees are limited to working only 1,000 hours per 12-month period, unless the seasonal is project based for a specific period of time which is typically less than 12-months.
