Job description

Maumee Bay Lodge is seeking a dedicated Greens Technician to join our Golf Grounds team at our 18 hole Scottish Links course in Oregon, OH. This position will be part-time and finish at the end of the golf season around October 31, 2026.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our golf course greens, ensuring an exceptional playing surface for our guests. You will work with a team of groundskeepers to perform a variety of turf management tasks aimed at preserving and enhancing our course’s pristine condition.

Pay rate is $13/hour. 

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and care for golf course greens & tees including setting pin placements and tee markers
  • Assist with fertilizing and irrigation 
  • Operate and maintain turf equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with landscaping duties including trimming, weeding, raking and other general course upkeep.
  • Collaborate with the golf course superintendent on special projects.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies during daily operations.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Requires pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs
