Job description

Duties: Assists Golf Course Superintendent in determining tee time, order of play and starting players on the first tee.Takes telephone reservations for playing time. Answers any questions customers have pertaining to playing golf or to the particular course. Handles complaints turned in by public. Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of pro shop, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, stocking, maintaining restroom facilities clean and in order. Responsible for the cleanliness of the cart/barn and maintenance of golf carts. This includes washing carts, changing tires, and retrieval of balls on the driving range. Reports maintenance breakdowns or repairs needed to proper supervisor. Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy. Scheduled shifts include weekends and holidays.
Qualifications: May require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time. Valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record.
