Equipment Operator

The Laredo Country Club is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our Greens and Grounds department. The Equipment Operator is responsible for performing work involved in golf course maintenance, including, but not limited to semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, operation of small hand-powered equipment, and work involving large equipment such as tractors, trenchers, backhoes, trucks, mowers, loaders and other maintenance equipment. As a member of our team and to help reach your potential, our Club is committed to providing you with the training you need to succeed in this position. With an 18 Hole golf course, driving range, eight tennis courts, a sports court, four banquet halls, a fitness center and three restaurants, Laredo Country Club is "Our Family's Second Home". Position Description

The Equipment Operator will be responsible to operate and care for the course maintenance equipment and performs related work, as needed, for golf course maintenance. This position will report to the Golf Course Superintendent and the Director of Agronomy, and will assist in the day-to-day operations of the golf course and any on-going projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to safely operate light motorized equipment and vehicles.
