OVERVIEW: The job is responsible for: Boca West Country Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Course Maintenance Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations to ensure the golf course maintains the highest standards of quality, playability, and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will lead a team of groundskeepers and equipment operators, ensuring all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, irrigation, aeration, and pest control.
  • Lead and mentor a team of groundskeepers, providing training and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain golf course turf health, ensuring optimal playing conditions year-round.
  • Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist in scheduling and planning maintenance projects and special course preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management, golf staff, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemicals, and equipment.
