Hours required: 11:30am - 7:00pm


Position Summary:

Outside Operations Staff Member is responsible for all activities regarding the bag drop, cart staging area, and all practice facilities. The primary responsibilities are to assist the membership and guests with bag movement and club cleaning. Additional duties include driving range set-up, continuous ball retrieval, chipping and putting green set-up, fleet cart set-up for the day of play and some tournament operations duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist members and guests with loading and unloading their golf bags before and after the round
  • Clean members' and guests' clubs thoroughly
  • Assist members with basic cart maintenance
  • Assist members with lost and found
  • Assist members in the event of a medical emergency on the driving range (Follow 911 procedures)
  • Ensure that the practice facilities are cleared during a Red Alert
  • Prepare bag drop area for day of play (fleet carts, podium, etc)
  • Prepare driving range for day of play (set-up range balls, check bag stands for trash, wipe down benches, etc)
  • Prepare chipping green and practice bunker for day of play (set-up of range balls near chipping area, supply a basket of balls in the bunker, etc)
  • Retrieve golf bags in bag storage area for scheduled times
  • Set and/or collect contest signs on the course before/after play
  • Check and/or restock beverage station in main staging area
  • Prepare ice chest with rolled towels (summer program)
  • Retrieve and wash golf balls for driving range as needed
  • Retrieve balls on chipping green as needed
  • Reset practice bunker and rake as needed
  • Clean and redress fleet cart with supplies for the next day
  • Provide cart detailing
  • Maintain and clean cart barn
  • Trash disposal as needed for entire staging area and bag drop
  • Enforce rules and regulations of the club

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. An individual should have knowledge of the game of golf. Additional requirements include: ability to work with others, ability to relate to customer's needs, and communicate effectively orally. Due to the nature of the position, a Bag Attendant / Outside Operations Staff Member must be outgoing and pleasant to all members and guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
