Job description

Delaware County Christian Schoolathletics is seeking to hire an energetic and committed Varsity Assistant Golf Coach to start in Fall 2026. We seek candidates who have knowledge and passion for their sport, who value sportsmanship and safety, and who are committed to the development of their athletes and the overall program both on and off the field. Additionally, coaching candidates must have strong communication skills and display professionalism at all times. Under the leadership of the Varsity Assistant Golf Coach, team(s) must honor the Lord and represent DC well.


Qualifications:
Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Faith must be aligned with thewhat we believeas described on the school's website
Must be able to communicate a Christian-view of athletics
Must know and understand the skills and techniques of Golf and effectively teach and communicate those skills and techniques to varsity athletes
Able to plan and execute team practices
Able to organize and coach the team on meet days
High school, college or professional Golf coaching experience preferred


Responsibilities:
Run daily practices anytime between 3:00-7:00pm
Develop rosters, provide game plans and oversee effective execution of those plans.
Willingness to drive the team van to practices and/or meets as needed
Other duties as assigned
