Job description

TGA Premier Sports is excited to announce an opening for a Cheer Coach within our dynamic sports enrichment program! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead cheer clinics and after-school programs for youth, focusing on developing cheerleading skills in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
As a Cheer Coach at TGA, you will be responsible for instructing children aged 5-12 in the fundamentals of cheerleading, including cheers, routines, and basic stunts. You'll foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for cheer in young athletes. This position allows you to inspire and motivate kids while making a positive impact on their physical fitness and self-esteem.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Strong enthusiasm for cheerleading and youth sports
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a coaching or teaching capacity
  • Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • No previous cheer coaching experience required; must be willing to learn
  • Willingness to participate in training sessions provided by TGA
  • Ability to complete required training and paperwork promptly
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting cheerleading classes and clinics for elementary-aged students
  • Preparing and implementing lesson plans based on TGA's curriculum
  • Encouraging teamwork, confidence, and a positive attitude among participants
  • Adapting lessons to accommodate varying skill levels within the group
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding class activities and progress
  • Assisting with the development of cheer routines for performances and displays
