The Role Responsibilities
As the Junior Varsity Boys Golf Coach, you will teach fundamental golf skills, course management, rules and etiquette, and help athletes develop confidence, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game. The JV coach will support the overall goals of the program by preparing student-athletes for varsity competition while fostering a positive, team-first environment. Additional responsibilities include planning and conducting effective practices, coaching athletes during meets, ensuring athlete safety, communicating effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff, and assisting with administrative responsibilities as needed.
Role Requirements
The ideal candidate will foster a culture of accountability, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement while working collaboratively with the Varsity Head Boys Golf Coach to build a positive and competitive golf program. The Junior Varsity Coach will support the overall philosophy of the program by providing quality instruction, encouraging individual growth, and helping student-athletes develop the skills, confidence, and course management abilities needed to compete at higher levels. The successful candidate will maintain clear and consistent communication with student-athletes, parents, and staff while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and academic support for all student-athletes.
