Oracle GoldenGate | Plano, Texas, United States Job Summary: Senior Oracle GoldenGate Database Administrator Location: Plano, TX, 75094, United States About the Role Join a high-impact team as a Senior Oracle GoldenGate Database Administrator, supporting mission-critical, large-scale Oracle environments in a dynamic UNIX-based setting. This role offers the chance to lead complex database replication and performance optimization initiatives in a financial institution, leveraging advanced Oracle GoldenGate solutions and the latest Oracle 19c and 23AI technologies. Ideal for professionals eager to advance their expertise in enterprise database administration and cloud automation. Responsibilities - Architect, implement, and maintain robust Oracle RAC and GoldenGate 23AI environments for high availability and disaster recovery. - Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization for large-scale Oracle databases to ensure optimal system performance. - Execute seamless upgrades and migrations of Oracle RAC and GoldenGate environments, including Dataguard configurations. - Develop and maintain shell and Perl scripts to automate routine database administration tasks. - Manage on-call pager duty rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems. - Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Toad, and SQL Developer to monitor, maintain, and enhance database performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable database solutions. - Document processes and mentor junior DBAs to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
