Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited program approved by APTA.
  • Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Home health experience preferred. Candidates with experience in skilled nursing, outpatient orthopedic settings, or hospital acute care are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to perform patient evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document progress according to state and agency standards, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for home visits.
  • Electronic documentation experience preferred, including familiarity with common home health EMR systems.
