Position Description:
Barrick is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Geologist to advance exploration programs in a collaborative, high-performance environment. The successful candidate will support Barrick's commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and community relations standards
  • Lead and supervise geologic mapping, data compilation, interpretation, and 3D modeling
  • Recommend drill targets, design and manage drill programs, and oversee core and RC chip logging
  • Supervise geological staff and ensure quality control procedures are followed
  • Review technical and project proposals for adherence to best practices
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring completion within scope
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project progress
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in geology or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with Northern Nevada gold exploration preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental responsibility required
  • Strong adherence to company policies and ability to ensure compliance among team members required
  • Effective teamwork and leadership skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
  • Proficiency with MS Office, acQuire, ArcGIS, ioGas, and 3D modeling software preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on uneven terrain required
