Job description

Join Our Team as a MIG Welder / Fabricator at Go Fast Manufacturing

At Go Fast Manufacturing, we don’t just build machines—we build momentum. As a leading OEM manufacturer in the sawmill and pallet industry, we design and build rugged, high-performance equipment that helps our customers move material faster, safer, and more efficiently. If you take pride in your work and want to build real equipment, you’ll fit in here.

What You’ll Do as a MIG Welder / Fabricator

As a MIG Welder / Fabricator at Go Fast Manufacturing, you’ll be hands-on in building complete industrial machines from the ground up. You’ll be part of the full build process, working with a team that values quality and consistency.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • MIG weld structural steel, plate, and heavy equipment components
  • Read blueprints and build assemblies from start to finish
  • Fit, tack, and weld full machine frames
  • Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to complete builds
  • Ensure finished weldments meet quality and fit-up standards

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and can produce consistent, quality results without constant supervision.

  • Experience: MIG welding experience required; experience with heavier material preferred
  • Skills: Ability to read and work from blueprints and build assemblies accurately
  • Work Ethic: Reliable, consistent, and takes pride in doing the job right
  • Mindset: Willing to learn, improve, and contribute to a strong team environment

Pay & Schedule

  • $24–$32 per hour, based on experience
  • 1st shift

Why You’ll Love Working with Us:

At Go Fast Manufacturing, we focus on building a workplace that matches the quality of the machines we produce.

  • Real Builds: Work on full industrial machines, not repetitive parts
  • Organized Shop: Clean, structured environment that lets you focus on your work
  • Growth Opportunities: Ability to move into advanced fabrication or leadership roles

Ready to Join the Go Fast Team?

If you’re ready to build real equipment and be part of a team that values skill, consistency, and pride in workmanship, we want to hear from you. Apply today or stop in to get started.
