Summary of Position
As a Houseperson/Bell Person at Blue Lantern Inn, you'll be the go-to for assisting several departments in helping guests have an exceptional experience at our small boutique inn. This is a great entry level position for someone seeking experience in many facets of hospitality; the Houseperson is part bellman and part front desk & housekeeping assistant.
With a passion for helping others, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to go above and beyond for our guests, as a Houseperson, you will be an integral member of our small but mighty team.

What You'll Do
  • Foster a warm and friendly environment for all guests and team members
  • Provide assistance and excellent customer service to all guests - being ready, willing, and genuinely happy to help guests at all times
  • Assist the front desk team in managing arrivals: greet guests, provide tours and information about the property, and assist the guest to their room
  • Work with fellow team members in the Housekeeping and Kitchen departments, assisting with setting up food and beverage as well as kitchen and common area clean up
  • Helping to assist with small private event setup and breakdown
  • Assisting with any guest service requests
  • Work within the five core values of Four Sisters Inns: Grace, Grit, Attentiveness, Adaptability, Above & Beyond
  • Promote the collection: develop a knowledge of other Four Sisters Inns and communicate information about the collection to guests
  • Any other duties as assigned
