Job description

Position Overview


The primary function of the Part Time Certified Trainer is to deliver the GMCS, GMF, and NESSTA curriculum and complete related administrative work. The position will work with and through our training division, Northeast Safety & Security Training Academy (NESSTA), to provide both internal and external training regimens.


The role is based out of the Williston, VT office and reports directly to the Lead Trainer. This position may involve day, weekend, and evening availability.


Responsibilities


Effectively deliver the GMCS, GMF, and NESSTA curriculum.
Work with the Licensing Coordinator to understand the process of obtaining training, licensing, etc.
Communicate with the Lead Trainer on the status of training, licensing, and other programs.
Maintain active Trainer Certifications and appropriate licensing.
Other duties as assigned.


Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
Must currently hold the rank of Supervisor within GMCS.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
Must hold a valid Vermont security license.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for a minimum of 4 hours.
Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
