Job description

The Commercial Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that core service/security technicians are providing commercial security customers a quality installation and service experience, through proper training, supervision, QC, equipping in a productive process driven manner. Suggesting process improvements as well as implementing those and other operational process adjustments as they are approved in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Daily supervision of security installation technicians to ensure on time, productive system installations and servicing.
2. Find opportunities to improve efficiency, discuss get buy in and approval to institute with measurable.
3. Performance management to KPI's and goals.
4. Set up of and implementation of process, operation or technical field changes to achieve goal
5. Remote service and customer education on escalations from Inside Support tech to avoid truck rolls
6. Review tech routing and assignments to maximize efficiency and service
7. Review commercial sales of access control, surveillance and security systems prior to installation
8. Weekly reports of service and installation stats to help pinpoint areas for training, improvement etc.
9. Handle technical customer escalations of service issues if field visit is necessary
10. Bi weekly Receive, review and send technicians payroll reports to GM by deadline
11. Receive and respond to internal customer needs for confirmation on COPS data confirmations.
12. Give input on project planning and budgeting for upcoming large projects
13. Technical Project management of installation for Access control, surveillance and commercial on install
14. Other duties as assigned
15. Willing and able in emergency situations to jump in and do installation or service on all systems
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the Commercial Security industry
  • Understanding of computer networks
  • Possess high school diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills and comfortable operating electronic devices.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to drive/ travel in and out of state 40% of the time.
