Job Description:
AUMOVIO is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GM Resident Engineer to join our technical team in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In this role, you will serve as an on-site engineering resource, providing technical expertise and support to our manufacturing and production operations. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing complex automotive systems, identifying solutions to engineering challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Provide on-site technical engineering support to manufacturing facilities and production teams

  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and develop effective corrective action plans
  • Analyze automotive systems, components, and processes using engineering tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize operations
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and engineering analyses
  • Monitor compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
  • Support process improvement initiatives and implement engineering solutions

Qualifications
