Job description

The work

The SAP Grant Management (GM) functional consultant is responsible for the analysis and configuration of SAP system to meet business process design and application requirements related to the following aspects of GM: Grantor Financial Processes, Sponsor Management, Grant Budget Management, Grant Billing and receivables, Grant Reporting, Grant Closeout.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to gather client's business process requirements
  • Develop detailed configuration rationales and designs, as well as building system configuration
  • Implement detailed business process functional solutions to meet client's requirements
  • Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
  • Create associated documentation such as RICEFW objects, test models, scripts, etc.
  • Maintain, enhance and configure SAP processes including those that interface with other applications
  • Facilitate interaction with technical and functional counterparts to ensure that solutions meet all functional requirements
  • May manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
  • Support data migration design, development, and validation

Here's what you need:

  • 7+ years of SAP ECC, S4 HANA and GM Functional experience
  • Experience with SAP Grants Management as well as Grantee Management processes and SAP Funds Management

Nice to have:

  • Team lead experience
  • Relevant SAP Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning
