We are seeking a Team Supervisor who is eager to take on leadership responsibilities and grow within our team. No prior supervisory experience is required. We value individuals with strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a proactive mindset. Training and support will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to thrive in a leadership role and manage up to 6 HVAC service technicians.
As a Team Supervisor, you'll oversee the training and quality of work performed by service technicians on residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinates activities of service technicians and apprentices so that operational efficiency, productivity, and economy are realized for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain the operational effectiveness and profitability of the Service department within their team with the assistance of the Management (GM/Operations Manager).
  • Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and prescribe repair procedures.
  • Ability to train and supervise others.
  • Available to work as on-call supervisor and field support upon a rotation with their team.
  • Perform daily evaluations of staff by visiting job sites.
  • Resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.
  • Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested.
  • Recommends people to be hired, disciplined, discharged, or promoted.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that the quality of work adheres to company and safety standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring:

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership capacity with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to meet company’s auto insurance guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
  • Must have EPA Certification
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to speak Spanish, a plus.
  • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
