Job description

Cahaba Dermatology is a luxury, busy, Dermatology and Spa Skin Heath Center with 3 locations in Hoover, AL, Tuscaloosa, AL, and Vestavia Hills, AL. Cahaba Dermatology specializes in minimally invasive and noninvasive cosmetic medical treatments including botox, fillers, body contouring, laser treatments, Diamond Glow, microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels, facials, and more!

We are seeking an aesthetician that has passion for esthetics and luxury spa skin care that has high energy, and a can do attitude. Team Members must be flexible in schedule, including some evenings until 8pm and some Saturdays, and have at least 1 year of spa experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to recommend appropriate esthetic treatments, deliver exceptional service while guiding individuals through custom treatment plans to achieve their skin and body care goals. Must be self-sufficient with your role as an esthetician with the willingness to learn. Must have at least one year of esthetic experience with skin care product sales, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and Hydrafacial. Lashes and brows are a plus.

The candidate will need to be a team player, and need to be proficient in communication, sales, documentation, front desk applications, and guest services.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • performing a comprehensive and detailed skin evaluation on guests
  • evaluating guests skin heath journey for different treatments and services
  • perform aesthetician services including but not limited to:
  • chemical peels, laser skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, Diamond Glow, hydrafacial, dermaplaning, and facials
  • high emphasis on boosting sales of services and products, bringing in new clients and retaining current ones
  • be proficient in documentation and use of the EMR software system
  • keeping aesthetician treatment rooms neat and clean daily and products displayed as required
  • provide excellent customer service
  • must be licensed at all times and follow Alabama state board regulations
  • operating and maintaining equipment
  • recommending and educating each and every guest on services and products that will benefit them and align with their skincare goals
  • be willing to help the company grow and participate in educational activities to further their own knowledge
  • should be a team player, respectful of others, and creates an ideal guest experience through a friendly and helpful attitude
  • other duties as assigned including proper attire, knowing own work schedule, proper attendance, use promotional tools of spa such as memberships, loyalty programs, promotions, referrals, etc
