Sr Finance Analyst - NA Saunas & Global Wellness

Opportunity
Wellness is a strategic growth business within Kohler Co., with a mission to help people live healthy lives by creating thermal & hydro-thermal wellness experiences that inspire people at home and in the world's leading wellness destinations. Wellness encompasses North America Saunas, Klafs International and Barr + Way.
Reporting to VP - Finance, the Senior Finance Analyst - North America Saunas and Global Wellness serves as a key finance business partner responsible for leading financial management and performance analysis for the North America Saunas category while supporting FP&A for Global Wellness consolidated.
This role provides actionable financial insights, forecasting, reporting, and decision support to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making. This position partners closely with business leaders across product development, marketing, advertising, operations, commercial, and finance teams to ensure strong financial performance, disciplined investment decisions, and effective decision making by providing meaningful insights.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Performance Analysis
  • Lead monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the North America Saunas category and Global Wellness consolidated results.
  • Working collaboratively with the Finance leads within Klafs International and Barr + Wray businesses, deliver timely and accurate financial insights to business and finance leadership, highlighting key risks, opportunities, trends, and performance drivers.
  • Own the financial planning and forecasting process for assigned areas, including income statement and balance sheet submissions, system uploads, and variance analysis.
  • Develop advanced financial models, dashboards, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide root-cause analysis of variances and recommend corrective actions to improve business performance.
  • Business Partnership & Cost Management
  • Partner with functional leaders to provide financial guidance, decision support, and robust cost management across operating expenses, headcount planning, development projects, marketing, and advertising investments.
  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner to business leaders, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and clear recommendations.
  • Support transparency of business drivers, assumptions, and financial performance across assigned areas.
  • Ensure ACT governance and policy compliance throughout all of Global Wellness.
  • New Product Development & Investment Support
  • Support New Product Development initiatives through business case development, investment analysis, project financial management, and governance of approvals, ACTs, and WBS elements.
  • Monitor project performance against approved business cases and provide ongoing financial visibility to stakeholders.
  • Support capital investment decision-making through financial analysis and return-on-investment assessments.

Reporting, Controls & Governance
  • Prepare and deliver financial content for monthly and quarterly business reviews, including consolidated reporting for North America Saunas, Klafs International and B+W.
  • Perform month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Kohler accounting policies, financial controls, forecasting controls, and governance requirements.
  • Provide FP&A support to non-SAP entities, driving consistency, transparency, and alignment with Kohler financial processes and reporting standards.

Capital Management
  • Lead capital expenditure planning, tracking, and reporting, including governance of asset capitalization and maintenance of project portfolios within the capital planning system.
  • Monitor capital spending against approved budgets and support timely approval and governance of capital investment requests.

Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
  • Champion continuous improvement through process standardisation, automation initiatives, and enhancement of data quality, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.
  • Drive reductions in manual effort and improvements in scalable, efficient, and controlled finance processes.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis, strategic recommendations, and support for key business initiatives and special projects.

Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A.
  • Experience supporting global businesses, manufacturing, consumer products, acquired businesses, non-SAP entities, or product development environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to build robust financial models and analyze complex datasets.
  • Experience with ERP, forecasting, planning, reporting, capital planning, and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scenario analysis, data visualization, automation, and scalable reporting solutions preferred.

  • Strong business partnering capability with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly to finance and non-finance audiences.
  • High attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, intellectual curiosity, and an ownership mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced global environment

This means you'll have access to your applicable benefit programs from your first day on the job, with no waiting period. The salary range for this position is $87,500 - $133,600. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
