Where you come in:
  • You lead and supervise GSOC personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring effective 24/7 global security operations coverage.
  • You drive daily operations within a modern, intelligence-led GSOC, maintaining continuous monitoring, situational awareness, and timely incident response across global operations.
  • You oversee real-time monitoring of CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and integrated platforms to assess risks to employees, facilities, and business operations.
  • You direct incident triage using structured escalation frameworks and tiered response models, ensuring accurate documentation, escalation, and resolution.
  • You maintain and continuously improve GSOC standard operating procedures, incident response playbooks, and decision-support frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
  • You proactively identify risks through intelligence monitoring, threat analysis, and collaboration with internal and external sources to support an intelligence-led security program.
  • You coordinate cross-functionally with Site Security, Regional Security Leads, IT, Facilities, EHSS, and travel risk partners to mitigate risk and support global operations.
  • You act as the on-site GSOC lead during emergencies and critical incidents, coordinating crisis response, mass notifications, and external emergency services as needed.
  • You support investigations through CCTV review, access control data, and detailed incident reporting, ensuring auditability and compliance.
  • You track and report on key performance metrics, contributing to continuous improvement and GSOC maturity.

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor, is responsible for leading day-to-day security operations across Dexcom's global environment, ensuring a safe, secure and responsive experience for employees, visitors and partners. This role supervises GSOC personnel, ensures adherence to policies and procedures, manages incident response activities, and maintains situational awareness of events that may impact employees, facilities, travelers, executives, operations, and other business assets. The GSOC Supervisor will coordinate closely with cross-functional partners and serve as the primary escalation point for security incidents and operational issues. Through proactive risk identification, comprehensive risk analysis, effective communication, and operational oversight, the GSOC Supervisor helps mitigate threats and support business continuity across Dexcom's global footprint.
What makes you successful:
  • You have a minimum of three years of experience supervising security personnel in a Global Security Operations environment or comparable operations in the private sector.
  • You bring strong leadership capability with a growth mindset, fostering accountability, training, and performance excellence across teams.
  • You have demonstrated expertise operating and interpreting data from enterprise security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, and incident management platforms.
  • You are skilled in intelligence-led security operations, including threat monitoring, risk analysis, and translating intelligence into actionable decisions that protect employees and business operations.
  • You demonstrate the ability to assess risk and make timely, high-quality decisions in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
  • You have experience managing incident response, emergency management, and crisis coordination, including escalation protocols and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • You are highly organized with strong attention to detail in documentation, compliance, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • You communicate effectively across multiple teams and levels of the organization, providing clear, concise updates during routine operations and critical incidents.
  • You have experience overseeing contract security personnel and vendors, ensuring service delivery aligns with operational standards and performance expectations.
  • You understand GSOC performance metrics and KPI's and you actively contribute to continuous improvement of operations, SOP's, and playbooks.
  • Nice to have: Experience supporting global operations, healthcare or manufacturing environments, and familiarity with travel risk management, or executive protection support.
