About This Role This position leads SecurTec's Global Security Operations Center (G-SOC) from our West Palm Beach corporate headquarters. The G-SOC is the operational nerve center of SecurTec - a 24/7 hub that monitors client sites, supports field officers, and coordinates the company's response to incidents and large-scale emergencies. The G-SOC Manager is responsible for the people, processes, and technology that keep this center running at the highest standard around the clock.
Position Summary The G-SOC Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of SecurTec's 24/7 Global Security Operations Center and leads the team of operators and analysts who staff it. The G-SOC handles operational support for field officers, real-time monitoring and dispatch, threat intelligence, communications coordination, quality assurance, and after-action reporting. During declared events, the G-SOC also activates as SecurTec's Emergency Security Operations Center (E-SOC) for natural disaster response (hurricanes, typhoons, floods, fires) and other large-scale emergencies (pipeline ruptures, public health emergencies, civil unrest). The Manager is responsible for ensuring the G-SOC is fully staffed, fully trained, and operationally ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, schedule, train, and develop the G-SOC team of operators and analysts; maintain 24/7/365 staffing coverage and conduct performance reviews and quality assurance evaluations
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, post orders, and response playbooks for all G-SOC functions
  • Oversee real-time monitoring and dispatch across CCTV, alarms, access control, guard tour systems, and mobile patrol response
  • Ensure timely and professional support to field officers on operational matters including timekeeping, scheduling, coverage, and incident response, serving as the escalation point for complex issues
  • Oversee threat intelligence and situational awareness operations, ensuring timely briefings and alerts are delivered to leadership, site supervisors, and clients
  • Support travel security and executive protection operations, including monitoring of traveling executives and high-profile clients
  • Serve as the central communications hub during incidents, coordinating with local, state, and federal law enforcement, fire, EMS, and emergency management agencies
  • Manage and maintain G-SOC technology platform(s) (CETRUCES) and partner with IT and cybersecurity on integrated threat events
  • Conduct quality assurance auditing of officer activity, post compliance, and patrol completion to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Oversee preparation of incident reports, after-action reports, and operational and intelligence reporting to executive leadership and clients
  • Activate and lead the Emergency Security Operations Center (E-SOC) during natural disasters and large-scale emergencies, including hurricanes, floods, fires, pipeline incidents, public health emergencies, and civil unrest

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in security operations, GSOC/SOC operations, emergency management, military operations, or law enforcement dispatch/command
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience leading operational teams
  • Strong working knowledge of security monitoring technology (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, dispatch platforms, mass notification)
  • Demonstrated experience with incident command, crisis communications, and emergency response
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief executives and clients
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during high-stakes events
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday core hours and serve in a rotating weekend on-call rotation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or related field
  • Prior military, law enforcement, or federal security background
  • Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, ASIS, or FEMA ICS / NIMS credentials
  • Experience operating during named-storm or large-scale disaster activations

Schedule & Location This is a full-time, in-office position at SecurTec's corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend on-call coverage and the requirement to report in or activate during declared emergencies.
