Job description

MISSION: As part of Global Inland Logistic PM team, you lead strategic development of logistics concepts, budgets, R&O and processes for all the projects around the world. In this role, you guide all the local teams in the different regions, ensure competitive logistics calculations, and collaborate closely with technical and commercial stakeholders. Your work strengthens the quality and efficiency of our logistics tenders across regions, helping to define the main guidelines and processes necessary to compile offers competitive and successfully and even supporting their functional teams in decision-making.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Define the processes involved in the inland logistics tendering process, which will serve as a guide and support for all regions. Also, the definition of control KPIs, and necessary documentation.
  • Lead and develop the Inland Logistic Tender Management Team around the world and support the entire Regional Logistic teams in the regions
  • Define project-specific logistics strategies and implement cost optimization measures. (RFQs, comparisons), including routes, permits, transport restrictions, and local conditions
  • Help prepare logistics concepts and planning for the sales offer scope, taking under control the route surveys and route modifications and validate technical feasibility
  • Standardize and assist in estimating inland logistics costs, identifying logistics risks and opportunities. Validate awards. And manage the Logistics Sales Calculation and the Log Calc tool or others.
  • Support the leadership of the operational strategy, supporting the execution
  • Calculate logistic costs along the full transport chain from manufacturing if it is local and POD to the destination
  • Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Engineering, Tender Management, Sales, Global Logistics and Legal during the tendering phase and supporting the operational phase. Including the different external stakeholders.
  • Consolidate cost data, maintain databases, and integrate lessons learned into processes and documentation.
  • Represent the area in technical and commercial negotiations and act as the interface between Regions and HQ, participating actively in Sourcing Board processes.Support the area and the functional Regional Logistic Managers in operative issues or main topics in ports and final run scope, including intermediate storage areas

YOUR POFILE:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of team leadership experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Project Management
  • Strong operational skills in ports and final run
  • Proven knowledge of the international logistics market and tender management
  • Ability to plan budgets, manage timelines, and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Process-oriented mindset with a drive to harmonize workflows
  • Expert knowledge in MS Excel; SQL is an advantage
  • Availability to travel
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German and Spanish are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and a collaborative working style
