This role oversees compliance with regulatory requirements, manages risk financing and insurance budgets, and collaborates with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential exposures. By driving continuous improvement and fostering a high-performing team environment, the position ensures operational efficiency and supports sustainable business growth. The role demands strategic oversight, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to adapt plans based on data insights and evolving regulatory landscapes.

The Specialty Compliance and Ethics team ensures contractor earnings systems comply with regulatory standards while fostering business innovation. This team develops and implements compliance frameworks, monitors regulatory changes, and collaborates across functions to maintain resilient processes. Focused on integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement, the team anticipates risks and drives policy development to uphold compliance. Members work closely with leadership to align strategies with evolving regulations and business objectives, ensuring consistent and effective risk management across jurisdictions.   • Lead the development and execution of risk management and finance strategies aligned with Walmart's global business objectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential financial risks using data-driven insights and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Manage insurance policy budgets, profit and loss accounts, and statutory audits for the captive insurance entity.
  • Oversee compliance and reporting to regulatory agencies, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate contracts and implement risk mitigation policies.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to build a high-performing risk management team.
