  • Shifts Available: Day, Swing, Weekend Day, Weekend Swing

  • Overtime: Mandatory overtime may be required

Global Operations | Precision Fabrication & Assembly

We are currently hiring for both Orbital Welder I and Orbital Welder II positions in Austin, TX. Join a leading precision manufacturing team supporting the semiconductor industry. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to start a welding career, as well as experienced welders seeking growth in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

The Orbital Welder is responsible for welding, assembling, testing, and repairing vacuum, pneumatic, and gas delivery systems used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate orbital welding equipment to weld stainless steel and specialty alloy tubing, fittings, and vacuum components.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, WPS, and technical drawings.

  • Assemble, repair, and troubleshoot vacuum, gas delivery, and pneumatic systems.

  • Inspect, test, and verify welds and assemblies using measuring tools, leak detectors, and test equipment.

  • Maintain orbital welding equipment and complete production documentation.

  • Follow safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; welding certification or technical training preferred.

  • Experience with Ultra High Purity (UHP) and/or Orbital Welding strongly preferred.

  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.

  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.

  • TIG/MIG welding experience, welding certifications, OSHA 10, and semiconductor manufacturing experience are a plus.

Pay Details: $22.50 to $27.50 per hour
