As manufacturing continues to evolve through automation, AI, and advanced machining technologies, we are looking for a visionary leader to drive the next generation of CNC post development.
As our Global Manager, CNC Post Development, you will lead a worldwide team of highly skilled technical experts, shaping the strategy, capabilities, and customer experience behind one of the most critical components of CAM software success.
This is more than a leadership role. It is an opportunity to influence the future of manufacturing technology on a global scale.
This global leadership role reports directly to the President of GibbsCAM, offers flexible location options, and requires up to 30% international travel to support CNC post development initiatives, customer needs, and cross-functional collaboration worldwide.

You will:
  • Drive the global strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.
  • Set technical standards that ensure exceptional quality, consistency, and scalability.
  • Guide teams working on advanced CNC technologies, including multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, and complex machine kinematics.
  • Act as the executive escalation point for high-impact technical challenges.
  • Explore emerging technologies, including AI-driven development and automation, to enhance performance and customer value.

Build and Inspire High-Performing Teams
People are at the heart of our success. You will create an environment where talented professionals can thrive, collaborate, and continuously grow.
You will:
  • Lead, coach, and develop globally distributed technical teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top technical talent.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness by continuously assessing capabilities, structure, and future workforce needs.
  • Unite teams across regions, cultures, and time zones under a shared vision and common goals.

Accelerate Business Impact
You will serve as a strategic partner to leadership and key stakeholders across the business.
You will:
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leadership teams.
  • Translate market opportunities and customer needs into scalable technical capabilities.
  • Optimize service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational performance through clearly defined KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the Post Development organization remains aligned with future business growth and technological evolution.

What Makes You Successful
Required Experience
  • Strong leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams in a global environment.
  • Deep expertise in CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.
  • Broad understanding of modern manufacturing processes and machine behavior.
  • Track record of driving operational excellence, organizational development, and technical quality.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Experience leveraging modern technologies, including AI-enabled tools, digital workflows, and software-driven manufacturing ecosystems.

Preferred Experience
  • GibbsCAM experience.
  • Previous experience as a CAM Application Engineer.
  • Experience working with OEMs, manufacturing customers, or reseller networks.
  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Who You Are
You are a strategic thinker, an inspiring leader, and a trusted technical partner.
You thrive in complex global environments and know how to balance long-term vision with operational execution. You build credibility through expertise, influence through relationships, and momentum through results.
Most importantly, you are passionate about developing people, driving innovation, and helping customers succeed.
Why Join GibbsCAM?
This is a unique opportunity to lead a globally recognized technical organization at the intersection of software, manufacturing, and innovation.
You'll have the freedom to shape strategy, develop talent, drive transformation, and influence the future of digital manufacturing within the Sandvik Group.
