Job description

At RED RHINO, we believe great work starts with great training, and that's where you come in! As our Learning & Development Lead, you'll turn our standards, SOPs, and leadership playbooks from paper into practice, building hands-on learning experiences that help RHINOs hit the ground running (safely, confidently, and with pride in their craft). From day-one onboarding to developing our next generation of leaders, you'll partner across departments to make sure every team member has what they need to do excellent work and grow into what's next. If you love watching people level up and want your fingerprints on how a growing company builds its people, we want to hear from you!

Pay and Perks:
  • Location: HQ in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
  • Compensation: $66k - $95k salary.
  • Standard full-time employee benefits package.
About the Role:
  • Build leadership development pathways that identify high-potential talent and accelerate readiness for advanced roles, reinforcing core people-leadership skills (communication, accountability, coaching, performance management).
  • Own end-to-end onboarding and role-based training (technical skills, safety, service quality, customer experience) to move new hires to independent contributors within 30-90 days while reducing errors, incidents, and turnover.
  • Translate SOPs and best practices into field-ready playbooks, certifications, and learning pathways, keeping content current and capturing institutional knowledge as the company grows.
  • Measure training effectiveness against performance, safety, quality, retention, and time-to-competency metrics, using findings to drive continuous improvement with operational leaders.
  • Oversee the Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator to ensure effective execution of training operations.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5-7 years in Learning & Development, Training, or Workforce Development, with a track record of executing training programs; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong grounding in adult learning principles and instructional design, with the ability to translate SOPs and technical content into practical, field-ready training.
  • Proven skill-gap assessment and impact measurement, paired with an analytical mindset to interpret training data and adjust programs accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills to influence employees at all levels, plus comfort working with field staff and integrating learning into daily operations.
  • Experience with LMS administration and training reporting, strong organizational skills across multiple initiatives, and genuine passion for developing people and craft excellence.

Drug screening and criminal background checks will be performed on all new hires. RED RHINO is a Drug-Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity Employer.
