Position Summary:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse inventory operations. This role focuses on cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, discrepancy research, stock verification, and reporting missing or incorrect inventory to management. The Inventory Specialist also works closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure material is properly received, stored, transferred, and tracked in the system. Forklift operation is required for this position.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.

Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.

Investigate inventory discrepancies, missing material, and quantity variances.

Reconcile inventory differences and prepare reports for management.

Report missing items, stock issues, and inventory errors to Operations Supervisor.

Verify item descriptions, quantities, locations, and material movements.

Support inventory adjustments based on physical findings and system review.

Work with warehouse staff to locate, confirm, and correct inventory issues.

Assist with receiving, transfers, put-away, and stock organization.

Confirm material is stored in the correct location and properly labeled.

Help monitor damaged, misplaced, or unaccounted material.

Operate a forklift safely to move, organize, and verify inventory.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow company procedures for inventory control and warehouse operations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ensure strict oversight and reconciliation of inventory between intercompany location to maintain accuracy and consistency.


Qualifications:

Minimum 2-year Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related work.

Knowledge of cycle counts, reconciliation, and inventory tracking.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to identify and resolve inventory issues.

Forklift experience required.

Forklift certification preferred.

Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
