Additionally, flexibility and strong problem-solving skills are essential for adapting quickly to unexpected issues that may arise before or during an event.

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of event managers to effectively manage an annual portfolio of proprietary events, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational, financial, and customer experience risks, leading cross-functional problem-solving efforts to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.

  • Budget Management: Oversee complex event budgets, including investment strategies and contract negotiation, ensuring timely and accurate financial tracking and reconciliation.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years in event operations marketing roles, preferably within a brand-side corporation or agency; 7+ years in a high-growth enterprise technology environment.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing teams, including early-career and senior members, with a track record of leading through change and inspiring cross-functional collaboration.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and presentation skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly to senior and executive-level audiences.

  • Event Operations Expertise: Proven experience in managing and executing events of various sizes, demonstrating strong attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of event operations, including logistics, content development, technology integration, production processes, and audience engagement strategies.
