Job description

This highly visible leadership role combines global program development, regulatory compliance, laser safety oversight, and site-level operational support . The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders across the organization to strengthen safety culture, improve compliance performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout our global operations.

As our Corporate Laser Safety Officer (LSO) , you will also play a critical role in maintaining laser safety programs, ensuring compliance with ANSI standards, and supporting product safety initiatives.

What We’re Looking For Global EHS Leadership

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive global EHS strategy that supports business objectives and operational excellence across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable international regulations
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs
  • Monitor and report EHS KPIs, driving measurable performance improvements
Success Metrics

Drive measurable improvements through proactive risk management and continuous improvement initiatives, including:

  • Reduction in workplace incidents and injuries
  • Improved compliance performance
Corporate Laser Safety Officer (LSO)

Serve as the organization's designated Corporate Laser Safety Officer in accordance with ANSI Z136 standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and maintain corporate laser safety programs
  • Ensure proper laser classification, controls, and compliance measures
  • Develop and deliver laser safety training programs
Site EHS Leadership | Rock Hill, SC

Provide direct EHS leadership and support for three Rock Hill facilities:

  • Manufacturing Facility (3D printers and materials)
  • Research & Development and Corporate Offices
  • Distribution Center

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action efforts
  • Manage environmental programs involving air emissions, stormwater, and waste management
  • Partner with operational leaders to create a safe and productive work environment
People Leadership

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development
  • Build strong partnerships with site, operational, and executive leadership teams
Training & Safety Culture

Champion a culture where safety is a core business value.

  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs
  • Promote safe behaviors and continuous learning throughout the organization
Qualifications What You’ll Bring Required Experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, or industrial environments
  • Demonstrated success managing EHS programs and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with air permitting and stormwater compliance programs
  • Laser Safety Officer (LSO) experience
  • Familiarity with ANSI Z136 standards
  • Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a global environment

Travel: 20-30% domestic and international

  • Office, laboratory, distribution, and manufacturing environments
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in designated production areas
