Job Description
Jellyfish is hiring a social-first creative specializing in entertainment content to join our award-winning team, working with one of our partners - a top global streaming service. We are looking for a multi-hyphenate creative with a strong POV to join our Emmy Award-winning team, working with one of our partners - a top global streaming service.
Reporting to the Social Content Director, you will create social media content on this key account with the help of a team of project managers, content managers, editors and designers.
This is a hybrid position based in our LA office. The salary range for this position is between $70,000-80,000 USD, annually and is based on experience.
Responsibilities
  • Create breakthrough content for client's social channels, by developing creative that elevates and innovates the brand voice
  • Embrace a team-oriented approach to creative work, and be ready to raise a hand to help pitch in whenever possible
  • Participate in creative brainstorming, community management, short and long-form social copywriting, and scriptwriting
  • Support social coverage for live events and junket shoots
  • Ensure content and ideas align with broader creative strategy
  • Stay up on new social trends and be comfortable pitching and creating innovative reactive content
  • Work with the project management team to ensure successful delivery of work, on time and within budget
  • Work closely with client to ensure briefs are clearly understood

Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience working on social media content, preferably in entertainment
  • Must be passionate about social media, entertainment - particularly TV and film- and pop culture.
  • Experience creating content for social media: static asset, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes
  • Must have a strong POV on how to engage in social media in new and different ways
  • Expertise in understanding high-performing TikTok creative
  • Experience covering live events and working with talent on photo and video production shoots (within a marketing shoot or junket environment)
  • Experience building online communities, and an understanding of fandom communities in social spaces
  • Experience delivering social campaigns at a national level
  • Comfortable working with clients by email, on calls or in-person
  • Experience in the entertainment industry.
  • Experience with basic editing using programs like Premiere and CapCut
