Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton's Content Department is a collaborative and forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering world-class subscription content to our members every day. As a Senior Media Operations Technician, you will play a critical hands-on role in the execution and support of Media and post-production operations for our global content pipeline.

You will be deeply embedded in media management, content management, quality control (QC), and delivery workflows, serving as a key connector between pre-production, production, post-production, and final distribution. This position is ideal for someone who excels at keeping complex content pipelines running smoothly, possesses a strong technical post-production skill set, and enjoys partnering across teams in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
  • Actively manage and contribute to all stages of post-production workflows, from ingest through final delivery
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in On-Demand and Banked Content to maintain content quality and publishing standards
  • Perform hands-on editing, audio mastering, graphics integration, and color correction across a wide range of deliverables
  • Review content from rough cut to final file delivery, providing quality-control feedback at multiple stages
  • Execute media QC, ensuring that assets meet Peloton's technical specifications, file naming conventions, and organizational standards
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain media assets across platforms and content management databases (CMS and MAM systems)
  • Handle direct file deliveries and manage asset movement, supporting seamless distribution to stakeholders and platforms
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Post-Production teams, and Vendors to ensure timelines, technical needs, and deliverables are met
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing workflow insights and suggesting operational efficiencies
  • Address and manage post-production support requests from Content, Production, and Product teams
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
  • Over 4 years experience managing end-to-end post-production or Media Operations workflows in a professional media/broadcast environment
  • Proven ability to manage video editing, audio mixing, motion graphics, and color correction with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Deep familiarity with media QC practices, technical standards, codecs, frame rates, color spaces, and delivery pipelines
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom), DaVinci Resolve, or Pro Tools
  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools (such as Asana)
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and media asset management (MAM) platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize steady streams of media assets effectively
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills to work collaboratively with Production, Creative, and Product teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines through effective self-management
  • Ability to work a shift-based schedule to support our global content timeline, which will include scheduled early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
  • Working knowledge of naming conventions, metadata tagging, and media archival best practices
  • Proficiency in German or Spanish is a plus (but not required)
