Job description

UBS's Unified Global Banking (UGB) is seeking aSenior Banker with ideally 15-20+ years of Investment Banking experience. This role will manage the team of regionally aligned Coverage Bankers, focused on originating cross-divisional business opportunities, with a specific focus on assisting with the review, diligence and client meetings/conversations of referrals into the Investment Bank from Wealth Management Americas. As team lead, you will hold the team accountable for commercial outcomes, client experience, and disciplined governance across the pipeline.

You will be responsible building, developing, and retaining a strong bench of regionally diversified Coverage Bankers. You must be a player/coach with the ability to articulate M&A, Equity & Debt capital raising and other Corporate Finance transactions to business owners and UBS Wealth Management Advisors. You will also be responsible for representing the full suite of Wealth Management capabilities to UBS IB client relationships and key stakeholders in UBS Global Banking as well as working in close connectivity with the global UGB team for collaboration on cross border transactions.

In this capacity, you will be expected to participate in defining the strategy and tracking performance against agreed group and regional KPIs.
