Purpose:

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the successful execution and delivery of existing software applications focused on quality management, compliance, and workflow optimization within breast cancer screening programs.

This role works closely with Product Management and stakeholders, to translate product requirements into detailed, actionable engineering work. The Associate Product Manager serves as a link between product, program, and engineering teams, ensuring that roadmap priorities are clearly defined, understood, and delivered through efficient sprint execution.

Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality product requirements, maintaining a well-groomed backlog, and driving clarity across development teams.

What you will be Doing: Product Delivery & Execution
  • Support the day-to-day execution and delivery of product requirements.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to understand roadmap strategy.
  • Translate high-level product requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and technical requirements.
  • Create, manage, and maintain Jira epics, stories, tasks, dependencies, and defects to support engineering execution.
  • Ensure backlog items are sufficiently refined and prioritized ahead of sprint planning activities.
  • Partner with Engineering and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle to clarify requirements and remove delivery blockers.
  • Participate actively in sprint ceremonies including planning, backlog refinement, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor sprint progress and follow through on commitments to help ensure timely delivery of roadmap objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as a point of coordination between Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Communicate priorities, scope changes, risks, and delivery status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and customer-facing teams to gather user feedback and identify user pain points.
  • Support customer discussions, product demonstrations, and requirements gathering activities when needed.
  • Document product workflows, requirements, release notes, and internal knowledge artifacts.
Product Quality & Compliance
  • Support testing, validation, and release readiness activities for new product capabilities.
  • Work with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams to ensure that development activities align with internal quality and compliance processes.
  • Assist in tracking product issues, customer-reported defects, and enhancement requests.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer workflows within product domain areas.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve product development processes, sprint efficiency, and backlog management.
  • Use product metrics, customer feedback, and operational data to support product execution.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning activities.
What you will bring to the role: Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Healthcare Technology, or a related role.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.
  • Strong hands‑on experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and release tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and engineering requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with software engineering and quality assurance teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clearly defined technical deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work with teams in different time zones and diverse geographic locations including United States, New Zealand and South Korea. As a result, a Pacific time zone location is required.
Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare software, health IT, medical technology, or clinical workflow applications.
  • Familiarity with breast imaging, breast cancer screening, radiology, patient management, or quality management workflows.
  • Experience working within regulated software environments, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or healthcare quality systems.
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and healthcare data workflows.
  • Experience supporting cloud‑based SaaS products.
  • Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required, except in limited circumstances where a legally recognized medical or religious exemption may be able to be accommodated.
  • This role will be hybrid if the employee lives within commuting distance of our US office (Lynnwood, WA). For employees outside this location, the role will be fully remote.
What you will receive:

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 per annum, full time equivalent.

Benefits:
