Aerospace Machine Shop is looking for a Quality InspectorKing Machine specializes in the manufacture of precision CNC machined parts and assemblies for the global aerospace industry. Effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.Long Term Disability, Life Insurance & EAP paid 100% by King Machine.Voluntary Life insurance with the employee paying 100% of the premium.401(k) plan with 100 % Company Match Effective the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.PTO & Holiday pay – Eligible upon hire Salary $22-$32 /hour. DOE, low end of scale typically meets minimum requirements, high end of scale exceeds requirements and experience including advanced knowledge/certifications.Primary responsibilities:Perform hands-on in-process and final inspection of light assemblies and detail parts in support of an AS9100 certified aerospace machine shop.CMM and manual first part and final inspection.Receiving inspection of supplier furnished product and services.Identify, segregate, and maintain records for nonconforming material.Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR's).Knowledge & Skills:Knowledge of CMM inspection, Prior experience with PC-DMIS is preferred.Strong understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings, perform basic shop math and familiarity with Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances per ASME Y14.5.Ability to use standard inspection equipment, including micrometer, caliper, and height gage.Computer skills, including Microsoft Office. CAD skills are preferred. Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent.5+ years Quality Inspection or equivalent education and experience.Previous experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.Hardness and conductivity inspection is a plus.Monday-Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, may vary. Come join the King TEAM!King Machine, LLC is an Equal Opportunity EmployerThis offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening.
