Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Fireplaces Business Unit in Lakeville, MN. The Fireplaces Business Unit is one of our key business units within Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT), featuring leading brands such as Heat & Glo, Majestic, Heatilator, and more. This business unit is dedicated to advancing fireplace technology and design, reflecting our commitment to exceptional quality and comfort.

Becoming a Sales Account Manager will launch your sales career with HHT! This is an early-career sales role focused on driving sales growth and profitability for assigned Hearth & Home Technologies trade partner accounts. Serving as a key link between Sales Business Partners and smaller trade partners, this role acts as a product and business expert while delivering exceptional customer service through a primarily inside-sales approach with some travel. Responsibilities include sales, marketing, training, field quality support, and policy/procedure guidance. Designed as a developmental role, the position typically lasts 1–3 years and provides the product knowledge and customer-facing experience needed to prepare for future field sales opportunities across the country. Must be willing to relocate in 1-3 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with assigned dealer accounts through phone, email, webinars, and in-person visits.
  • Partner with customers to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve product knowledge, and maximize business performance.
  • Present new products, promotions, and marketing programs that help customers succeed.
  • Serve as a trusted resource by providing training, product recommendations, pricing guidance, and program support.
  • Analyze territory and market opportunities, monitor competitive activity, and share insights with sales leadership.
  • Travel approximately one week per month to visit customers and support field sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Business Partners and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and resolve business challenges.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in sales, customer service, account management, marketing, or a related business field.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel approximately one week per month.
