Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead glazing and glass-focused construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on construction knowledge, and proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, quality and client relationships. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient delivery of projects while coordinating teams, subcontractors and suppliers to meet technical and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling and execution for glazing and related construction works, ensuring projects meet scope, budget and timeline targets.
  • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, change orders and vendor invoicing to maintain profitability and financial control.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and on-site crews, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.
  • Review and interpret shop drawings, specifications and engineering details specific to glazing, curtainwall, storefront and architectural glass systems.
  • Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, providing regular project updates, managing expectations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Oversee procurement and logistics of glass, framing systems, hardware and related materials to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, documenting progress and addressing defects or non-conformances.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, meeting minutes, submittals, RFIs and closeout packages.
  • Mentor and coordinate project engineers and site supervisors, promoting continuous improvement and best practices in glazing installation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of construction project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the glazing industry.
  • Proven experience with glazing systems (curtainwall, storefront, curtain wall/transom, structural glass) and ability to read shop drawings and specifications.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, change orders and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Procore, Plangrid or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CCM or OSHA 30 are a plus.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
