Job responsibilities include:
  • Follow Safety and Company Policies: Adhere to all company procedures, especially safety protocols like electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and hot work; complete monthly safety inspections and coordinate annual fire extinguisher checks.
  • Operate and Repair Equipment: Learn to operate and repair a wide range of equipment (e.g., furnaces, sealant machines, forklifts, cranes); coordinate with manufacturers for complex repairs.
  • Support Preventive Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules, assist with the plant maintenance program, and document all tasks performed.
  • Maintain Clean and Safe Work Areas: Keep tools secure and workspaces clean, safe, and organized.
  • Assist Production and Drive Improvements: Help with production as needed, interpret blueprints, troubleshoot equipment, and suggest ways to improve products, services, and operations.

What We Are Looking For
  • PLC Expertise
  • Well-Rounded Maintenance Skills: Experienced in universal maintenance across various systems and equipment
  • VFD Proficiency: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Electrical and Schematic Knowledge: Familiar with 24VDC control circuit wiring; ability to read technical drawings, with European schematics as a plus
  • Industry Experience: Glass plant experience is a plus

Position Pay Range
$30-$35 USD
