Job Summary

The Product Manager, Access Intelligence Platform (AIP) is responsible for driving product management efforts across Imprivata's Access Intelligence Platform product line, delivering critical data, analytics, and actionable insights to customers and internal stakeholders. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize work spanning Patient Privacy, drug diversion, CJIS, identity and access management, and analytics product management efforts, ensuring a superior customer experience driven by data insights. The ideal candidate brings experience in analytics, healthcare, or CJIS workflows, and is comfortable working alongside modern AI tooling — including LLMs and coding assistants — as part of how product and engineering teams build and validate solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive product management for the Access Intelligence Platform, including Patient Privacy, Drug Diversion, CJIS, and analytics solutions.
  • Serve as Product Owner for a scrum team, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Services, Marketing, and other stakeholders to define, build, and launch product features.
  • Gather customer, market, and competitive insights to identify opportunities and validate new product ideas.
  • Translate customer and business needs into data-driven product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize the product roadmap, backlog, and sprint planning to align with strategic business goals and release schedules.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to refine epics, resolve delivery risks, and ensure successful execution through Agile ceremonies.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key product and business metrics to measure success and guide product decisions.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, feature progress, and business value to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Leverage AI tools, including LLMs and coding assistants, to improve product management workflows, prototyping, and requirements development.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 3-5 years' experience as a product manager, with experience in analytics, healthcare IT, or CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) workflows.
    • Experience with patient privacy monitoring, drug diversion detection, CJIS compliance, or analytics products preferred.
    • Familiarity with LLMs and coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and how they can be applied to product management workflows.
    • Agile Scrum experience as Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.
    • Track record of launching successful new products or features to market.
    • Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research capabilities such as voice of the customer.
    • Proven experience turning research into new opportunities that identify minimal viable product, product differentiators within a competitive landscape, and a long-term product roadmap.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
    • Passionate about solving problems in innovative ways.
    • Detail-oriented but with the ability to think and act strategically.

This position offers a total compensation range of $109,200 - $119,700 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position.
