Job description

Striim is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to serve as the technical leader for strategic technology partnerships across the cloud, data, and AI ecosystem. This role works closely with hyperscalers, database providers, technology partners, and internal cross-functional teams to design, validate, and promote integrated solutions that help customers modernize their data infrastructure with real-time streaming technologies.

The Partner Solutions Architect serves as a trusted technical advisor to partners throughout the relationship lifecycle-from onboarding and technical enablement to solution development, joint go-to-market initiatives, and customer engagements. This individual combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to influence partner strategy, accelerate adoption, and strengthen Striim's ecosystem.

As AI becomes increasingly embedded throughout the organization and product portfolio, this role also leverages AI tools to improve technical productivity, accelerate solution development, enhance partner enablement, and identify new opportunities for AI-driven customer solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for strategic cloud, database, and technology partners, building trusted relationships with partner architects and engineering teams.
  • Deliver technical enablement through architecture workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), technical training, and hands-on partner onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic partner programs, onboarding customers from first introduction to production
  • Design, validate, and document reference architectures that showcase Striim's real-time data streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), data integration, and AI capabilities across partner platforms.
  • Collaborate with partner sales, engineering, and product teams to support joint customer opportunities and develop repeatable solution playbooks.
  • Design and prototype integrations between Striim and partner technologies, helping expand and strengthen the partner ecosystem.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to communicate partner feedback, influence product direction, and prioritize integration enhancements.
  • Support field Solution Architects and Sales teams during strategic customer engagements involving partner technologies.
  • Develop technical content including architecture guides, best practices, solution briefs, demo environments, and implementation documentation.
  • Represent Striim at partner events, technical conferences, webinars, and customer meetings as a subject matter expert in modern data architectures.
  • Research emerging technologies across cloud, AI, analytics, databases, and streaming platforms to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Leverage AI-powered engineering, productivity, and developer tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies) to accelerate solution development, improve documentation, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance partner enablement.
  • Explore and demonstrate AI-driven use cases that combine real-time data streaming with modern AI, machine learning, and agentic AI architectures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Partner Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Manager, Customer Engineer, Technical Alliances, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience managing customer implementations, constantly revising processes to accelerate customer adoption
  • Experience working with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architectures, including real-time data streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), data integration, ETL/ELT, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, cloud networking, security, Linux/Unix environments, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing solution architectures, conducting proof-of-concepts, and supporting technical pre-sales or partner engagements.
  • Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, SQL, Shell, or similar languages.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and ability to quickly learn emerging technologies across cloud, AI, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience incorporating AI-powered productivity or development tools into day-to-day work and an interest in applying AI to improve customer outcomes and technical workflows.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working for or closely partnering with Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, or other enterprise technology providers.
  • Experience with cloud marketplaces, technology alliances, or joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), Model Context Protocol (MCP), or agentic AI architectures.
  • Experience working in high-growth SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data integration, or data modernization companies.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and pre-IPO stock options
  • Comprehensive health care plans (medical, dental and vision), including medical and dependent FSA
  • Retirement plan (401K)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • The chance to contribute to and shape an upbeat, fully engaged culture
