Description
The Heart of the Valley YMCA (Kimberly) and Neenah-Menasha YMCA are hiring Kids Corner Staff for our in-house drop-in child care program. Bring your energy to play, create and giggle with children ages 6 weeks to 7 years old. The Kids Corner offers childcare while parents & guardians use the Y, up to 2 hours per day. Working within our short-term child care center, staff bring smiles to children's faces while leading age-appropriate activities to ensure a safe environment for our youngest members.
This is a part-time position with shift opportunities Monday through Friday, between 8:30am and 12:00pm; 4:00pm to 7:00pm; and Saturday mornings.
Working at the Y comes with incredibly flexible schedule. Additional hours in other areas of the Y are also available.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate with both children and adults.
  • Ability to multitask, as well as an eye for safety and behavior management
