Student Worker (Gift Shop)
Job no: 50000327

Location: Virginia Beach

Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently handle purchases and transactions (Cash, Card, and Mobile Payments), and balancing the Register at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Restocking shelves and displays with new apparel, neatly organizing and folding inventory, and maintaining storage closet
  • Handle packaging and communications with customers regarding online orders
  • Be able to effectively communicate with customers about promotions and new arrivals and be an information source for visitors, both in person and over the phone
  • Daily maintenance of the store such as basic dusting and cleaning of surfaces

Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and through online/email correspondence
  • Proficiency in cash handling and general transaction processing
  • Willingness to assist with stocking, cleaning, and event setup as needed
