Job description

Job Description acuCyber is looking for an experienced cybersecurity engineer to join our project team in Patuxent River, Maryland. This is an onsite position in Patuxent River, Maryland with some occasional telework allowed. Base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $175,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, business needs, and geographic location. Required Skills * BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
* TS/SCI clearance
* Possesses one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Federal IT Security Professional-Designer-NG (FITSP-D); GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA); GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC); Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
* At least seven years of experience with military C6ISR systems, at least 3 of which in a management/supervisory role Desired Skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Other professional certifications (e.g., PMP)
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment
