Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring Cath Lab experience, Epic proficiency, and on-call availability.

Details
  • Cath Lab unit within a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital in Portland, OR
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
  • No weekend requirements beyond on-call
  • Float between multiple facilities within Oregon based on unit needs, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and others
  • Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
  • Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
  • Active OR RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
Additional Information
  • Provides nursing care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting within a large academic health system
  • Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • Former permanent employees of the health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
  • RTO is expected to be minimal for this position
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
