Job Details:

• Position is located at the Pacific Campus, which is the Pavilion for Women and Children offering comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend shifts required
• Float required to Postpartum unit
• No on-call required
• Clinician may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• High risk perinatal care unit with Level III designation, featuring 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage
• Ideal candidates should have experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries; candidates with 100–200 delivery experience will be considered
• Staffing goals: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• Triage staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift
• Supported by 2 surgical techs per shift, 3 CNAs per shift in postpartum, 3-4 delivering providers 24/7, 2 CRNAs 24/7, and 2 Health Unit Coordinators 24/7
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any (no reddish-orange permitted)
• Parking: Facility paid
• Required certifications (all are hard stop requirements): ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Hard stop requirement: Must have sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency
• Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
• 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses. The Pavilion for Women and Children provides comprehensive maternity services, including high-risk perinatal care, and is supported by a multidisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, radiology, phlebotomy, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and unit secretaries. The facility utilizes Epic for electronic charting and is equipped to handle a wide range of obstetric and neonatal needs.
