This role reports onsite in our West Hollywood office.

The Role

Moonbug Entertainment is looking for a talented Video Editor (GFX & Colour) to join the Post Production team at our Los Angeles office.

This role sits within the Post Production department and focuses on finishing content to the highest technical and creative standards, with an emphasis on graphics, visual polish, colour grading, and final delivery across a wide range of kids’ content.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is technically excellent, detail-oriented, creatively driven, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Core skills include:

  • Online editing in After Effects – high competence
  • Colour grading in DaVinci Resolve or similar – high competence
  • After Effects for motion graphics and GFX – high competence
  • Premiere Pro offline editing experience – preferred
  • Photoshop for asset preparation – preferred
  • Strong understanding of broadcast and digital delivery standards
  • Experience working through creative briefs and notes from multiple partners
  • Excellent problem-solving skills related to post-production workflows and technical fixes
Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • Several years’ experience as an Online Editor / Finishing Editor / Colourist delivering projects from conform through final delivery
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Colour grading and colour management workflows
    • Matching shots across scenes and episodes
    • Applying VFX, clean-ups, transitions, and finishing touches
  • Experience working with complex timelines, including:
    • Multiple audio tracks
    • Music, SFX, and dialogue stems
    • Sync and conform accuracy
  • High attention to detail with proven experience in:
  • Ensuring content is technically compliant and error-free
  • Ability to enhance storytelling through visual polish, colour, and graphic design
  • Familiarity with children’s content and brand consistency across series
  • A team player with a good sense of humour and a strong desire to grow within a fast-paced, creative environment
