Job description
We're looking for a reliable, safety-minded team member with forklift experience and a Class A CDL to support our production and warehouse operations. In this role, you'll spend your day operating a forklift, moving trailers with a yard dog, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting our state-of-the-art bird seed production facility.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
What You'll Do
Yard & Equipment Operations
- Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, and pallets.
- Operate a yard dog (terminal tractor) to safely move and position semi-trailers throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Move completed pallets using an electric pallet jack.
- Shrink-wrap finished pallets using automated and manual equipment.
- Process, mix, and bag bird seed on a production line.
- Read and follow production schedules.
- Set scale weights accurately.
- Feed bags through sewing machines or heat sealers.
- Stack finished product onto pallets or into boxes.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support production efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Provide courteous customer service when needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Experience operating a yard dog or terminal tractor preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates).
- Ability to work extended hours when production demands require.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug test before employment begins.
- Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, push, and pull.
- Regularly lift and carry bags and pails weighing up to 50 pounds.
